I know Gemma is everyone’s NPC crush of choice (and I get it, don’t get me wrong), but the competent nerd that is Alma will always be the one I adore out of the two. Between her fascination with every new thing she can learn, her attachment to that hyper specific ancient idol the WudWuds tried to steal, but also her being a presumed higher rank of handler since she speaks DIRECTLY for the Guild instead of just handing out quest notices like in World means she’s gotta be a super kickass and competent scientist… she’s perfection
