Fun fact: males have a prostatic utricle, which is basically a tiny, vestigial uterus leftover from before they started to develop male anatomy in the womb (because we all technically start out with the same parts, and those parts change into either full female anatomy or male anatomy depending on which gender our genetics tell our bodies we are. just for context in case you were unaware). So, in a fantasy setting, if this prostatic utricle were to be, say, enlarged by medical or artificial means….you could impregnate a man.
And that is how I justify mpreg and male omegas in omegaverse fics lmao.
the big climatic scene being accompanied by a choral arrangement of All The Things She Said is, frankly, iconic
i was already interested in watching ‘deadloch’ but finding out that the creators made and presented a document called “the cunt manifesto” to amazon as a way of explaining why cunt has to be used in the show just made me even more excited to watch it. .
So Deadloch is pretty ripper

So, rant!
I’ve just started watching Deadloch because a friend recommended it to me. She said there would be middle aged lesbians and that was pretty much all she had to say to make me watch it.
And I don’t know what I was expecting exactly… I mean I KNEW it was a comedy but, It’s so fuckin funny?? I only just found out that Kate McLennan and Kate McCartney wrote it, honestly I should have KNOWN. The Katering Show is one of my comfort watches.
Anyway, Deadloch is about a lesbian detective in a sleepy town called Deadloch in Tasmania, who now has to do her job and solve a murder mystery where the murderer only kills men. She reluctantly teams up with this quirky homicide detective from Darwin, and an vey excitable Constable. Whom are all women.
If you’re a fan of Our Flag Means Death I think you will also enjoy Deadloch. Similar vibes I think?

I hate that you’re right and that I understood all of that.
The constant evolution of slang terms on tumblr is a defense mechanism for keeping corporations from infiltrating our spaces. They’re rarely quick enough to keep up, and it makes it makes it easy to spot the imposter.
